Obituary

JOSEFINA "JOSIE" M. GARZA
Josefina "Josie" M. Garza, 85, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, in Laredo, Texas.
"Josie" as her beloved family called her was born and raised in Laredo, Texas.
She had been employed at the Laredo Junior College in the enrollment department as a clerk  for many years up until her retirement. She settled down and raised her grandchildren, grandnephews and nieces. She was a woman with a tremendous heart always there when you needed her.
She is preceded in death by her parents Domingo Martinez and Sara Lopez Martinez. Her sisters Juana M. (Raul) Garza and Andrea Martinez. Her nieces  Maria Magdalena (Mike) Garza Diaz, Diana Maria (Norberto) Garza Diaz, grandnephew Michael Nathan Diaz.
She is survived by her sons, Carlos (San Juana) Garza and Jaime Gabriel ( Yesenia) Garza.
4 grandchildren.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, Visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed  to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 16, 202 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased officiated by Deacon Leonard Aguillon will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
