JOSEFINA M. RODRIGUEZ
Josefina M. Rodriguez, 61, passed away on Thursday, August 16, 2018 in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Rodriguez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. She followed her calling and became a nurse. She was employed as a nurse, for over 42 years, providing her care to people in need, in the Laredo area. Her career began at Mercy Hospital, where she was employed from 1976-1994. In 1994, she went on to provide her nursing skills at numerous Health organizations.
Mrs. Rodriguez is preceded in death by her loving husband, of 22 years of marriage, Humberto S. Rodriguez, who passed away on November 16, 2000.
Brother, Pedro Martinez Jr. and Sister, Rebecca Martinez.
Parents, Pedro Martinez and Isabel R. Martinez.
Mother-in-law, Yolanda G. Sanchez and her brother-in-law, Victor M. Armenta Sr.
She is survived by her two sons, Humberto Rodriguez Jr. and Jose Gerardo Rodriguez.
Grandson, Brian Humberto Rodriguez.
Brothers and sisters, Irma (Juan) Luna, Roberto (Juanita) Martinez, Rosalinda Armenta, Ricardo Martinez, Raquel (Enrique) Mendoza and Adriana (Primo) Guzman.
Sister-in-Law, Elizabeth Martinez.
Also surviving her are uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends.
A heartfelt gratitude to friend and fellow nurse Juanita Parra Saenz and the staff and administration of Happy Families and Esmeralda's Adult Day Care.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
A service will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Committal services will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
