JOSEFINA CRUZ SERVANTES
Josefina Cruz Servantes, 90, left to join our Father, Thursday November 21, 2019.
Josefina was born June 20,1929, born in Palo fox, TX. She served her community proudly by working at the Webb County Detention Center, where she helped troubled youth for many years until she retired. She touched many hearts and always put others' needs before her own.
She now joins her mother and father, Francisca & Jose Maria Lopez, her son, Octaviano Servantes Jr. and grandson, Hector RIojas, in heaven.
She leaves behind, to cherish her memory, her loving daughters, Beatrize Servantes, Francisca (Javier) Sanchez and Yolanda Riojas.
Son, Jose Maria Servantes.
Grandchildren, Melissa (Jose) Camarillo, Ramon (Flor) Mendez III, Cathy (Edgar) Benavidez, Rebecca (Victor) Altamirano, Toni (Kyle) Tuttle, Jose Juan (Yahaira) Servantes,
Hector Servantes, Lucy (Nicolas) Perez, Robert (Samantha) Servantes , Victor and Juan Romeo Riojas Jr.
Great grandchildren, Maria, Adriana, Josefina, Damion, Faith, Eduardo, Julian, Anthony, Nicolas, Ashley, Sebastian, Gabby, Kya, Delia Luna,
Audriana, Arabell, Alondra, Julian, Sebastian, Victor, Natalie, Jenna, Bella, Zyla, Mahki, Lucy, and Damian.
Sister, Angelita (Sotelo) Huerta.
Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019. Holy mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
