JOVITA M. CRUZ Jovita M. Cruz, 90, passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 in Laredo, Texas. Mrs. Cruz was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a resident for all of her life. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Eduardo Cruz. Son, Jose Eduardo Cruz. Daughter, Maria Garcia. Sisters, Paula Perez and Juanita Naranjo. Brother, Felipe Martinez. Granddaughter, Patricia Vargas. She is survived by her children, Teresa (Domingo, dec'd) Zamora, Carmelia (Roberto) Lara, Santiago (Lilia) Cruz, Maria Luisa (Rene) Garcia, Petra (Margarito) Sanchez, Juan Cruz, Miguel Angel Cruz, Rafael (Leticia) Cruz, Maria Del Rosario (Manuel) Rios and Jesus Cruz. Daughter-in-Law, Andrea Cruz. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Sisters, San Juana Martinez and Matilde Martinez. Also nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
