Juan G. Bernal Sr., 65, passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Bernal was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Father, Margarito Bernal Sr. and Mother, Genoveva Mendoza.
Step-father, Tomas Mendoza.
Brother, Reynaldo (Binny) Bernal.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 45 years of marriage, Natalia F. Bernal.
Children, Norma (Roberto) Cabrera Jr., Juan G. (Lissandra) Bernal Jr. and Hilda Lizette Bernal (Roberto Ramos Jr.)
Granddaughters, Melanie, Anali, Arlene and Victoria.
Brothers, Hector Javier (Sylvia) Bernal, Heraclio (Griselda) Bernal, Margarito Bernal Jr. and Roberto Mendoza.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 5, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at  San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. for departure and mass hour contact the funeral home.
