JUAN ELIZONDO JR.
Juan Elizondo Jr., 75, was called upon by The Lord and peacefully entered the gates of heaven on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at a local hospital.
Mr. Elizondo was born and raised in Laredo, Texas and was
a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and a special friend to all whose lives he touched.
He was self employed entrepreneur and provided his services to oilfield companies locally, and in the surrounding area.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, of 50 years of marriage, Maria Olga V. Elizondo, who passed away on Jan 28, 2007.
Sisters, Linda Dominguez and Guadalupe Elizondo.
Brothers, Nasario Elizondo.
Parents, Juan Elizondo Sr. and Petra C. Elizondo.
He is survived by his children, Janie ( Lonnie) Garcia, Cynthia (Juan Carlos) Elizondo, Lydian (Alex) Gonzalez, Juan (Juani) Elizondo III, Sonia De Leon and Enriqueta Ortiz.
Grandchildren, Valerie, Alejandra, Janie and E.J. Palacios.
Hector Javier Venegas, Cindy Lizette Silva and Janina Venegas.
Alex III, Juan Alberto and Aubin "Oby" Gonzalez.
Kayla and Juan IV Elizondo.
Lisa Anette, Jaime Javier, Karina and Laila.
Jesus Dahlia and Noelia Ortiz.
Great-grandchildren, Alexis, Cesar, Sophia, Aleah, Kaitlyn, Andy, Brandon, Mia Nichol, Leo, Amber Lee, Hector Jr. and Mathew, Nalexcy and Aubin Jr. Gonzalez.
Brothers, Everardo (Lupe) Elizondo, Juvenal (Juanita) Elizondo and Mayo Elizondo and Spouse.
Also surviving him are numerous other great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
