JUAN GUTIERREZ JR.

Mr. Gutierrez, 86, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Laredo, Texas.

He was born and raised in Laredo, Texas where he met the love of his life and made his home.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Juan Gutierrez Sr. and Paula P. Perez.

He is survived by his loving wife of many years Hilda B. Gutierrez of Laredo, Texas.

His son Juan Gutierrez III and his wife Jessica Gutierrez who resided in Pleasantview, Utah and their twins grandson, Adrian Gutierrez and granddaughter, Addilynn Gutierrez.

Her sisters, Manuelita (+Pablo) Pena of McAllen, Texas, Blanca (+Jesus) Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, Margarita (+Candido) Gonzalez of Laredo, Texas, Gloria (+Daniel) Kelley of Ringgold, Georgia and Araceli (Mario) Dablo of McAllen, Texas.

Also surviving him are numerous family members and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at  Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Candido Gonzalez, Dickey Rounsaville, Juan Garcia, Jesse Garcia, Juan Gutierrez and David Navarro.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
