Obituary

JUAN PEREZ
Mr. Juan Perez, 82, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, March 2, 2017.
He was a hard working man, lovable husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, great great grandfather and friend who will be greatly missed.
Mr. Perez is preceded in death by his mother Consuelo Acosta, sisters Maria Eugenia Vasquez, Rosario Perez and Clementina Navejar.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years, Maria de Jesus Perez; 8 children: Juan Manuel Perez (Leticia), Maria Isabel Perez (Guillermo), Mario Alberto Perez (Ileana) Veronica Gutierrez (Santiago), Raul Perez, Adrian Perez (Lissa) Rebeca Martinez (Amando) and Gerardo Perez and his 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren 1 brother Pascual Soto and 1 sister Josefina Escobedo,
Also surviving him are sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
