JUAN MANUEL RAMIREZ JR. Juan Manuel Ramirez Jr., 72, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 in Laredo, Texas. Juan Manuel Ramirez Jr. was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a very hard working employee of the the post office. Mr. Ramirez worked for 30 years for The Postal Service in Laredo and was elected President of the Local Postal Service Union twice. He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Manuel and Aurora Ramirez. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years of marriage, Dora E. Ramirez. Daughter, Elizabeth R. "Lizzy" (Martin) Gaytan. Son, Juan M. Ramirez III. Grandchildren, Gabriella and Isabella Gaytan. Brothers and Sisters, Genaro (Irma) Ramirez, Raul (Norma) Ramirez, Albert Ramirez, Genoveva (Joseph) Drouillard, Diana (Jose Luis) Arambula and Thelma Ramirez. Also surviving him nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 11, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:45 a.m. on Monday, March 12, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Divine Mercy Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
