Juan Jose Recio Juan Jose Recio, 58, passed away on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Recio was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. He is preceded in death by Mother, Ciria Recio. Aunts and Uncles, Catalina Garcia, Manuel Garcia, Joel Perez, Trinidad Palacios, Epimenio Palacios and Efrain Palacios. Mother-in-Law, Dora Martinez. Grandfather, Emiliano Martinez. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years of marriage, Sandra May Recio. Son, Jose Emiliano Recio. Daughter, Ana Teresa Recio. Son, Daniel Recio and Ashley. Grandchildren, Joseph Angel, Emily Raven and Abigail Jean. Father-in-Law, Oscar R. Martinez. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday, August 9, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services will be held at a later date.
