JUAN SANCHEZ
Juan Sanchez, 79, passed away on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
Mr. Sanchez was born and raised in Laredo, Texas . He attended local schools and after his graduation went on to Serve with the United States Navy. He did his tour with the USS Robert K. Huntington. He was honorable discharged from the Navy having served from 1961 to 1988. He came home and did his public service having joined the Laredo Fire Department and served the community as a firefighter for over 25 years. He retired and enjoyed life to the fullest. He will be missed.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife of over 40 years of marriage Maria C. Sanchez.
By his son Ted Sanchez
His daughter Maria Del Carmen Sanchez
and by his parents Teodoro Sanchez and Maria Del Carmen Sanchez.
He is survived by his Children: Juan Dagoberto (Enriqueta) Sanchez, Linda Santos, Denise Sanchez and Juan F. Sanchez.
Grandchildren; Juan, Joaquin and Julian Sanchez.
He is also survived by numerous other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, located at 800 Boston St.
and San Bernardo Ave.
A Vigil of the Deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, will be officiated at 11:30 a.m. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Navy Honorguard and the Laredo Fire Department Colorguard, and 21 gun salute and the presentation of the United States Flag will be provided by the American Legion, Post 59 of Laredo.
