JUAN FRANCISCO SAUCEDA
Juan Francisco Sauceda-Gonzalez, 68, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2020, at a hospital in Kyle, Texas.
Juan Sauceda was born in Mexico and raised in Laredo, Texas. Juan was a loving father, grandfather, and brother. He had a passion for reading, and listening to music and current events. Juan valued education greatly and instilled that in his children, and nieces and nephews. He had two degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. Juan graduated with a degree in Psychology and was accepted to the University of Houston Law School. He decided to obtain another degree in Electrical Engineering, in which he spent most of his professional career working at International Paper Company in Alabama. Juan later became a math teacher at Christian Middle School in Laredo, Texas until he retired. Juan lived the remainder of his life in Lockhart, Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice Perez, step father, Ramon Perez and father, Francisco Sauceda.
He is survived by his children, Cassandra (Jamie) Stokes and Susannah (Ernesto) Garza.
Grandchildren, Maren Camille Stokes, Graham Stokes, Max Christian Garza, Charlotte Elle Garza and Brooke Kennedy Garza.
Siblings, Joel (Antonia) Sauceda, Luis Carlos Sauceda, Sanjuana (Antonio) Sanmiguel, Pedro (Elena) Sauceda and Maria Paula (Jose Luis) Gonzalez.
Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
