JUAN GABRIEL VILLANUEVA

Juan Gabriel Villanueva, 44, passed away on Monday, September 21, 2020 at a local hospital.

Mr. Villanueva was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Villanueva.

Sister, Martha Patricia Villanueva.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 11 years of marriage, Virginia Reyes.

Children, Juan Gabriel Villanueva Jr., Mateo Villanueva, Alexa Villanueva, Carlos Villanueva, Luca Villanueva, Natanahel Villanueva, Niha Villanueva and Julie Villanueva.

Mother, Maria de la Luz Menchaca.

Siblings, Martin Villanueva, Jose Francisco (Elsa) Villanueva, Ramiro (Paula) Villanueva, Maria Guadalupe (Ricardo) Garcia, Norma (Santiago) Perez and Veronica Villanueva.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
