JUAN GUADALUPE VILLARREAL
Juan Guadalupe Villarreal "La Burra" was born in Laredo, Texas on January 28,1948. He lived in Laredo all of his life. Juan was the life of the party. He loved to dance and was well known for his "alaridos" in his younger years. He was a cancer survivor. He worked as a construction worker and a furniture mover for most of his life. One of the best known construction jobs he worked on was the flooring of the Mall Del Norte.
Juan like any of us had his flaws and maybe a few more than most of us, but one thing was when he loved you, he would love you with all of his heart. Juan had a smile that no matter what would melt your heart. And a furry that would leave you speechless.
Juan was the hero in his baby girl's life(Melissa). He got to shake hands with the famous wrestlers that came to Laredo in the 80's at that point no other man could surpass him in her eyes. His grandson Christopher Lee Esparza was the light that uplifted him and helped him during his cancer stage. Chris was a huge piece of his heart. Juan was one that you could always count on.
Juan was the father of five, Eduardo Villarreal, Juan G. Villarreal Jr., Yvette Munoz, Veronica and Melissa Villarreal Gonzalez
Juan is preceded in death by his daughter Veronica Villarreal, parents Abel and Catarina Villarreal, Sister Zulema Gutierrez and grandsons Christopher Lee Esparza and Angel Javier Mejia.
He will be remembered by his wife Teresa Villarreal, youngest daughter Melissa Villarreal Gonzalez and son in law Roberto Gonzalez.
A special thank you for his home health nurse Ana Laura Rodriguez. She not only treated Juan with all the love and respect but made us love her like family.
