JUANA L. CASTILLO

Juana L. Castillo, 92, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026.

Mrs. Castillo was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Homero Luis Castillo.
Parents, Pedro and Maria Luisa Lopez.
Grandsons, David and Joel Fuentes.
Sisters, Virginia Lopez, Refugia "Cuca" Quintana, Evangelina Lopez and Santos Lopez.
Brothers, Daniel Lopez, Jose Morales, Cayetano Morales and Mike Lopez.

She is survived by her children, Belinda Castillo and Arturo David Gonzalez, Rosa Maria Castillo, San Juanita (Jorge†) Torres and Homero Luis Castillo Jr.
8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Sister, Eva Rocha.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

The Family would like to extend a special Thank You to Angel Serna, Sara and Andrea at  La Frontera Nursing Home for the special care provided .They would also like to thank Dr. Luis Benavides and the nurse assistants, Norma and Jessica who tended to her needs with love.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and a Liturgy of the Word will be officiated by Rev. Deacon Roger Martinez at 11:30 a.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
