JUANA DE LA CRUZ Juana de la Cruz, 88, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. De la Cruz was born in Saltillo Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Pedro De La Cruz. Parents, Vidal and Felicitas Rodriguez. She is survived by her be loved son Francisco (Josefina) De La Cruz. Children, Maribel (Eduardo Sr.) Herrera, Monica De La Cruz (Antonio Cornejo), Irene (Genaro sr.) Reyna and Francisco (Guadalupe) De La Cruz. 14 Grandchildren and 5 Great grandchildren. Also surviving her are other relatives and acquaintances friends. Family would like to give a heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Fernando Sanchez and to Herlinda Elizondo from Healing Hands. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:05 a.m. on Friday, September 26, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will take place at Santo Cristo Cemetery in Saltillo Coahuila, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
