Juana Cruz Moreno, 90, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022.

Mrs. Moreno was born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Maximina Cruz.

Her beloved husband, Martin Moreno.

Sister, Catalina Cruz.

Also, two sons and two daughters.

She is survived by her children, Antonia (Eduardo) Ibarra, Mercedes Vitales, Delfina Moreno, Francisco (Imelda) Moreno, Salomon (Leticia) Moreno, San Juana Moreno, Benedicto (Imelda) Moreno, Juan (Yadira) Gonzalez and Brenda (Marco Antonio) Ortiz.

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Three sisters and three brothers.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Thursday, September 15, 2022 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Juan Antonio Gonzalez, Marco A. Ortiz, Eduardo  E. Ibarra Jr., Aurelio Lara Jr., Jeffrey Lara, Christopher Molina, Frank Moreno and Miguel A. Vara.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Benedicto Moreno, Francisco Moreno, Salomon Moreno, Eduardo E. Ibarra, Juan Jose De Leon, Miguel A. Chapa and Joshua K. Vitales.
