JUANA "JUANITA" NIETO SULLIVAN Juana "Juanita" Nieto Sullivan, 95, passed away on Friday, May 25, 2012 at a local hospital. Miss Sullivan was born in Laredo, Texas and had lived here most of her life. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph A. Sullivan who passed away November 21, 1954. By her cousins, Miss Luisa Nieto, Mrs. Julia N. Hernandez, Mrs. Victoria Sanchez, Sister M. DeLellies and Mrs. Florisa Galindo. She is survived by her cousins, Miss Laura Hernandez and Miss Irma Hernandez. Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
