JUANITA RAMIREZ CASTANEDA
Juanita Ramirez Castaneda, 95, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Castaneda was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jose Castaneda.
Parents, Jose and Eleuteria Ramirez.
Son, Jose Rodolfo Ozuna, Pedro Castaneda and Raul Castaneda.
Daughter, Amparo Rodriguez.
Sister, Maria Barron.
She is survived by her children, Candelario (Manuela) Ozuna, Norma (Bernardino) Cazares, Maria (Manuel) Ortega, Rosa Isela (Terri) Dunsun, Yolanda (Mauro) Rivera, Juanita (Dan) Duke and Jose Castaneda.
Grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, Visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 4 p.m to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 1, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
