JUANITA ADELMIRA DELGADO

Juanita Adelmira Delgado, 59, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 in Laredo, Texas.

Juanita will be remembered for the loving, beautiful, and strong person she was with an amazing soul, amazing mother, and grandmother always there for those around her. She also worked for the United Independent School District for 20 years, she was an employee of J.B Alexander High School, and United Middle School.

Mrs. Delgado was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Alicia Delgado.

Aunt, Gloria Martinez.

Uncle, Alvino (Charlene) Santos.

Grandson, Christopher Jesus Martinez.

She is survived by her children, Virginia A. Martinez, Javier Martinez Jr., Francisco Martinez and Luis Camacho.

7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Sister, Sandra Prado, Diana Delgado, Dora Delgado and Nora (Oscar) Cedillo.

Brothers, Roosevelt (Lydia) Delgado, Mario (Ana) Delgado and Daniel (Rosa) Delgado.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be officiated at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing from the funeral home chapel at 10:05 on Wednesday, January 22, 2020. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
