JUANITA DUARTE Miss Juanita Duarte, 92, passed away Friday, January 03, 2014 at a local hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Laredo. She is preceded in death by her parents Juan Pablo and Tomasita Duarte. Her sisters: Belia Duarte, Maria de Jesus Duarte and Beatriz Duarte Dominquez. She is survived by her sisters: Dora D. Martinez and Rosa A. Zambrano, and her brother: Manuel (Aurora) Duarte. Her Nephews and nieces: Juan G. (Maria Magdalena) Garcia, Dora (Robert) Newell of McAllen, Tx, Mario Alberto Duarte and Armando Duarte. Grandniece: Carisa Rubi Leal of Austin, Tx. Also numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 06, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a Vigil of the Deceased being held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez & Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral Services will begin at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan 07, 2014 departing from the East funeral chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
