JUANITA GONZALEZ

Juanita Gonzalez, 77, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2023.

Mrs. Gonzalez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Brijido Gonzalez.

Brothers, Jose De Luna, Juventino De Luna, Roberto De Luna and Cecilio De Luna.

Nephew, Juan Carlos Elizondo.

She is survived by her daughters, Cecilia Gonzalez (Antonio Cerda) and Jennifer Gonzalez ( Roberto Lucio).

Grandchildren Maria Cecilia Cerda, Joshua Rodriguez, Rebecca Gil, Celika Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, Rogelio Lucio and Romeo Lucio.

Great grandchildren, Jada Cerda, Daniel Banegas, Aaron Banegas, David Banegas, Bridget Rodriguez and Xavier Rodriguez.

Godson, Gerardo Villarreal Aguilar.

Sister, Maria Del Refugio Elizondo.

Also surviving her are nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. Gonzales was a cheerful and loving individual, which is why the Family has requested that those attending the funeral services, please refrain from wearing the color black.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: Roberto Lucio, Antonio Cerda, Joshua Rodriguez, Angel Rodriguez, Arturo Elizondo Jr., Juan Eduardo De Luna Jr., Jorge A. Diaz and Elmer Landeros.
