JUANITA G. HUERTA
Juanita G. Huerta, 62, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children on Friday, August 30, 2024.
Ms. Huerta was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. She graduated from Martin High School in 1981 and entered the workforce thereafter. She spent most of her life working as manager for local convenience stores. She had a strong work ethic, which she instilled in her children. In her most recent years, she was able to spend more time with family and friends. Her love for her grandchildren was very apparent, always being present for their activities and taking them on "Target runs" and to Five below. Being a woman of faith, you could find her at mass on Sundays, praying for her Green Bay Packers to win during football season. When the occasion arose, she never missed the opportunity to dance and have a good time. In the face of adversity, she remained steadfast, strong, faithful and always with a positive attitude. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Raul Huerta and Guadalupe Huerta.
Sisters, Elva Soto and Acenette Garcia.
