JUANA LUMBRERAS

Juana Lumbreras, 100, passed away on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.

Mrs. Lumbreras was born in Ciudad Victoria, Mexico and was a long-life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her Husband, Atanacio Ramirez†, son, Jose Luis Ramirez†, daughter-in-law, Rosa Maria Ramirez†.

She is survived by her children, Rosa Maria Vda. de Castro, Hector Ramirez, Eduardo Ramirez, Maria V. (Juan H.) Olvera, Rosalinda Faz, Jorge (Maribel) Ramirez and Victor H. Ramirez.

23 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Sister, Margarita Quintanilla.

Daughter in law, Elida B. Vda. de Ramirez.

Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home ay 9:15 a,m, on Saturday, May 23, 2026. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS: Hector Ramirez Sr., Eduardo Ramirez, Jorge Ramirez, Miguel Uribe, Victor Olvera and Juan Olvera.
