JUANITA Q. MEAD Juanita Q. Mead, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2014 in Laredo, Texas at the age of 67. "Juanita" will forever live in our hearts. She lived for her pride and joy and only son Oscar who gave her the two most wonderful "treasures" her grandchildren Jessica & Oscar Jack, whom she adored. She served the Lord at her beloved San Vicente de Paul church,where she was an active member of " La Sociedad del Altar " for over 30 years. She successfully organized church events throughout the year We want to take the time to thank all her church friends for never leaving her side and the many prayers they offered for Mom's recovery. A special thanks you to Father Leonel, for giving mom her last rites, allowing her into the Kingdom of God. She will now join the love of her life, Jack. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Jack Mead. She is survived by her son Oscar (Cruz) Mead. By her grandchildren: Jessica Marie Mead and Oscar Jack Mead. Step-Grandchildren: Mario Molina Jr. and Cassandra Molina. Her parents Maria De Jesus Mendez and Juan Quinones. Her numerous brothers and sisters, also nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the with the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will departing at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014 from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Laredo City Cemetery.
