JUANITA SOLANO

Juanita Solano, 75, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Solano was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Weneslado and Santos Parra.

Her beloved husband, Viviano Solano Jr.

Daughter, Rosa Idalia Solano.

Son, Viviano Solano III.

Also preceding her are her brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her children, Maribel (Jaime) Gomez, Elizabeth (Gabriel) Escobedo, Guadalupe (Pablo) Hernandez, Maria (Gilbert) Gonzalez, Nora (George+) Castillo, Diana (Cruz) Reyes, Idalia (Bertoldo) Moreno, Estrella Solano and Javier (Kimberly) Solano.

39 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, July 10, 2023 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Javier Solano, Maribel Gomez, Elizabeth Escobedo, Guadalupe Hernandez, Maria Gonzalez, Nora Castillo, Diana Reyes and Idalia Moreno.

HONORARY PALLBEARER: Estrella Solano.
