JUDITH PEÑA

Judith Peña, 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Pena was born and raised in Laredo, Texas. Before her retirement, she had been employed as  a teacher at Mary Help of Christian's Catholic School. She then retired and spent her time with her family and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Peña and by her parents Mr. and Mrs. Anastacio C. Puig and Anita C. Puig.

She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years of marriage Rafael Francisco Peña.

Her Children; Melissa (Eddie) Cuellar, Rafael (Ofelia) Peña and Michael (Ashley) Peña.

Her Grandchildren; Arnolfo (Lynette) Cazarez, Christina Cuellar, Katia Peña, Silke Peña, Giada Peña, Joaquin Peña, Callahan Peña and MacGregor Peña.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, located at 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave. The funeral cortege will depart the funeral chapel at 10:00 a.m. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Committal services and inurnment will be held in the Laredo City Cemetery.

Funeral services are under the direction of the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
