JULIA SANTOS

Julia Santos, 83, passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022.

Mrs. Santos was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident. She was employed, for over 20 years, at the Central Kitchen of the Laredo Independent School District, until her retirement.

She is survived by her children, Jose Francisco Saldaña (Roland Marrero) and Javier Fernando Saldaña.

Granddaughter, Amy Perez.

3 great grandchildren.

Her beloved K-9 friend, Bella.

Also surviving her are numerous nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

The Family would like to offer a special "Thank You" to her caregivers, Rosa Gil, Susana Castro,Consuelo Rodriguez, Esperanza Medina, Maria Elena Rodriguez and Hortencia Garcia.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . A Vigil of the Deceased, officiated Rev. Deacon Leonard Aguillon, will be held at 11 a.m. Committal services will be held on a later date.
