JULIO RUIZ JR. Julio Ruiz, 78, passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at a San Antonio Hospital. Mr. Ruiz was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 departing from the Hernandez Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. PALLBEARERS WERE: Julio Cesar Ruiz, Gerardo Moreno, Jordan Anthony Wise Ruiz, Demetrio Ruiz, Salvador Ruiz, Roberto Ruiz, Victor Manuel Barberena and Alfonso Sandoval. Honorary Pallbearers were: Jose V. Moreno, Ricky Ruiz, Rene Ruiz and Guadalupe Gonzalez.
