JUVENTINO GONZALEZ Juventino Gonzalez, 88, passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at his local residence. Mr. Gonzalez was born in Ciudad Guerrero, Tampaulipas Mexico and had been a life long resident of Laredo, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Felicidad Gonzalez. First wife and mother of his children, Maria Santos Gonzalez and second wife, Celestina Esperanza Gonzalez. Brothers, Sergio Gonzalez and Lazaro Gonzalez and sister, Sofia Gonzalez. Son-In-Law, Hector Fernandez. He is survived by his loving children, Maria Odila (Armando) Garcia, San Juana Lydia Fernandez, Juventino Alfonso (Minerva) Gonzalez, Lucila (Jesus) Garza and Angelina Guadalupe (Jim Boy) Guerrero. He had 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. Brothers, Roberto (Irene) Gonzalez, Antonio Gonzalez, Sotero Gonzalez and Rogelio (Graciela) Gonzalez. Sisters, Carmela Aleman and Felicidad (Flavio) Pruneda. Also surviving his are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of Deceased will be held at 5:30 p.m. and a Religious Service will be held at 7 p.m. officiated by Rev. Roberto Esquivel in the Hernandez-Lopez and Son Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Francisco Javier Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
