Laurentina Hernandez, 92, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

Miss Hernandez was born May 28, 1928 and was a lifelong resident of Laredo, Texas. "Laura", as she was affectionately known, by her family and friends, worked in the linens Department of Richter's "El Precio Fijo" Department Store, for over 30 years, until her retirement. She will be dearly missed and remembered by those whose lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lauro Hernandez Sr. and Julia Hernandez.

Brothers, Lazaro Hernandez, Jose F. Hernandez and Oscar Hernandez.

Sisters-in-Law, Magdalena Hernandez, Maria De La Luz Hernandez and Delia Hernandez.

Brother-in-Law, Esteban Flores.

She is survived by her Sisters, Rosa H. Flores and Irma Hernandez.

Brother, Lauro N. Hernandez Jr.

Also surviving are numerous cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.

Following the ordinance by the State of Texas, visitation will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.

It is preferred for minor children not be allowed to attend services.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 4, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased, officiated by Rev. Deacon Hector D. Hernandez, will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
