LAWRENCE BOYLE Lawrence Boyle, 85, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at a local hospital. Mr. Boyle was born in New Germany Minnesota in 1980 he moved to Laredo, Texas and had been a resident of Laredo ever since. He was a veteran of the World War II in which he served with the United States Navy from 1957 up until his discharge in 1961. He reached the rank of ADR 2 a Aviation Machinists Mate in 1957, he was decorated with the Fourth Good Conduct Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, National Defense Service Medal, American Campaign Medal and the World War II Victory Medal. After his Honorable discharge he continued his love with aviation machinery and continued his craft as an aircraft mechanic. He is preceded in death by his parents John Boyle and Ruth S. Boyle, by his brothers Jack Boyle and Robert Boyle and by his sisters Margaret Boyle and Betty Boyle. He is survived by his companion of many years Ercilia Uribe. His children: Lawrence E. Boyle Jr. of Yucca, Arizona, John A. (Vonda S.) Boyle of Tuttle Oklahoma, Robin M. (Thomas) Montgomery, Clauda (Paul) Uribe-Saenz, Corina Y. (Jerry Guevara) Uribe of San Antonio, Texas, Cordelia ( Richard) Uribe-Gonzalez also of San Antonio and Lalo (Erika) Uribe III of Laredo. 15 Grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, numerous other relatives and many many friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapel, 800 Boston and San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin Tuesday morning July 8, 2014 at 11 a.m. with a chapel service officiated by Deacon Leonard Aguillon held in the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will immediately follow the service in the Laredo City Cemetery Veteran's Section.
