LAZARO "LITO" FLORES

Lazaro "Lito" Flores, 80, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2023.

.Mr. Lázaro (Lito) Flores lived in Nuevo Laredo then moved to Poza Rica, Veracruz. He came back to Nuevo Laredo and married the love of his life: Imelda (Melda) Lugo, who had 58 year Anniversary on December 11, 2023.  He was a devoted father and husband. Family was always his priority. His first job was at Brady's in 70's  then UETA where he retired in 2010. He played baseball and loved coaching his three sons. He was a huge fan of Los Tecos and Atlanta Braves. He attended many Lucha libre events in Nuevo Laredo. He also enjoyed watching soccer games, the weather and history channel. We are deeply saddened to see him go but his memories will last a lifetime time. We are blessed and grateful to have him in our hearts and soul and lived so many experiences with him. Thanks to family and friends for all the prayers and thoughts.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lazaro Flores Garza and Julia Villarreal.

Brother, Rodolfo "Rol" Flores .

Sisters, Alicia Carrean and Rosa Elia Cazarez.

Nieces and nephews, Romaldo Carreon, Lupe Carreon, Javier Cazarez Jr.

Mother-in-Law, Hermilia  Lugo. and Father-in-Law, Ernesto Lugo.

He is survived by his loving wife, of 58 years of marriage, Imelda Flores.

Children, Dalia (Manuel) Gonzalez, Lazaro Flores III (Lupita), Sandra (Santos) Garcia,Jorge A. (Lucy) Flores and Oswaldo (Sandra) Flores.

Grandchildren, Amanda Flores, Lazaro Flores IV, Oswaldo Flores Jr. Jose C. Cumpian, Anthony Martinez, Leonel A. Cumpian, Kimberly Flores, Gerardo Flores, Alejandra Flores, Samantha Flores, Juan A. Cumpian, Julia Flores, Annisa Flores, Maria Fernanda FLores, Jorge A. Flores Jr., Santos Garcia, Marco A. Garcia and Alexia Sofia Gonzalez.

Great grandchildren, Adabel , Adaline, Jose C. Jr., Candice Cumpian, Madison Cumpian, Layla, Isabella, Lily, Caleb Anthony and Kinsley Martinez.

Also surviving him are nieces, nephews, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2023. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at San Vicente de Paul Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
