LEONOR SOTELO

Leonor Sotelo, 93, passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2021, in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Sotelo was born in Dallas, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 58 years of marriage, Ignacio Sotelo.

Parents, Eugenio and Paula Trujillo.

Children, Ignacio Sotelo Jr, Rosa Maria Sotelo-Lira, and Maria Luisa Sotelo-Navarro.

Brothers and sisters, Cecilia Gonzalez, Marianna Gonzalez, Margarita Medina, Juana Molina, Antonia Martinez, Rumalda Cantu, Miguel Trujillo, Francisco Trujillo, Eusebio Trujillo, and Luis Trujillo.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy (Rosa) Trujillo, Celia (Hector) Garza, Homero Sotelo, Norma E. Rodriguez(Terry Aguilar), Jose I. (Sylvia) Sotelo, Fernando J. (Cindy) Sotelo and Julieta Yolanda Sotelo.

17 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Sister, Susana Mancha .

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. A Vigil of the Deceased will be officiated at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home Chapel. Funeral services will begin departing from Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Funeral Chapels at 10:05 a.m. on Friday, September 17, 2021 . A Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in  the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
