Obituary

LETICIA V. SPEED
Leticia V. Speed, 60, was embraced by God and called home on Tuesday, July 28, 2020.
Mrs. Speed was born in Carrizo Springs, Texas and was a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. Her passion for the Import and Export Industry helped form her career to the point where she became the Coordinator of a local Import and Export Business. She was a devoted and loving mother to her children and a kind soul to all those in need. She is remembered dearly and now holds a special place in the hearts of those whose lives she made better.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leandro and Lucia Vega.

Left to cherish her memory are her children, Jimmy Ray Speed III, James Robert Speed, Justin Ray (Amy) Speed and Jake Alan (Harley) Speed.
7 grandchildren.
Sisters-in-Law, Sandy, Donna and Sharon.
Father of her children, Jimmy Ray Speed Jr.
Best friend, Delmira Llanas.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Following the Ordinance by the State of Texas, Visitations will be limited to 40 people inside our funeral home.
It is preferred for minor children not be allowed  to attend services.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Committal services will be held on a later date.
