LIBRADA "LIBBY" VILLANUEVA Librada "Libby" Villanueva, 73, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2015 at her local residence. Mrs. Villanueva was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident. She is preceded in death by her parents, Fidel and Mariana Navarro. Brothers, Candelario Navarro, Fidel Navarro, Apolinar Navarro and Jose Navarro. Sister, Diana Hilda Suess. She is survived by her loving husband, Jose Luis Villanueva. Children, Nora Laura (Arturo) Guajardo, III., Melissa (Juan Antonio) Castillo, Jose Luis (Dora E.) Villanueva Jr., Fidel (Sandra) Villanueva and Yvette (Oscar) Abrego. 9 grandchildren. Sisters, Maria Jovita Ramirez, Francisca Rodriguez and Dolores Garza. Also surviving her are nephews, nieces other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 22, 2015 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2015 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at San Jose Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
