LILIA R. CHAPA

Lilia R. Chapa, 82, passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.

Mrs. Chapa was born in Diaz Ordaz, Tamaulipas, Mexico.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 51 years of marriage, Jose C. Chapa, who passed away on October 3, 2015.

She is survived by her children, Jose Luis (Lupe) Chapa, Victor Manuel (Angela) Chapa, Maria Trinidad (Carlos) Sanchez, Sergio Chapa and Alicia (Felipe) Rodriguez.

18 grandchildren.

26 great grandchildren.

2 great great granddaughters, Everly Belynn Bahena and Ensley McKinzie Bahena.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a religious service, officiated by Pastor Jose Guadalupe Jalomo, will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons,Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. A religious service, officiated by Pastor Jose Guadalupe Jalomo, will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Luis Chapa, Victor Chapa, Sergio Chapa, Jose Sergio Chapa, Felipe Rodriguez, Carlos Sanchez, Roberto Chapa and Joseph Rodriguez.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS WILL BE: Jose Luis Chapa and Mannie Chapa.
