LILIA PENA
Lilia Peña, 86, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at a local hospital.
Mrs. Peña was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Trinidad Paredes.
Husband, Ramon Peña.
Daughters, Alma Lydia Peña and Guiselda Peña Ortiz.
Grandson, Baby boy Ortiz.
Sister, Hortencia Cardenas.
Brother, Roberto Paredes.
She is survived by her children, Gerardo Pena and Leticia Pena.
Grandchildren, Lilia P. Carranza, Imelda Peña, Amanda Peña, Monica (Roberto) Garcia, Melissa Peña and Gerardo Peña Jr.
3 great-grandchildren.
Sisters, Margarita (Oscar) Noriega and Guadalupe (Mario+) Sanchez.
Sister in law, Guadalupe Paredes.
Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. at the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home AT 8 a.m.Wednesday December 8, 2021. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
