LINA MELIDA FERNANDEZ

Lina Melida Fernandez, 87 passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025.

Mrs. Fernandez was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is survived by her four children, Martin Vicente Fernandez, Gilberto Fernando Fernandez, Ana Veronica Garcia and Mitchell Gerardo Fernandez.

Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy . Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
