LORENA G. SOLIS Lorena G. Solis, 40, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2013. Ms. Solis was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been raised in Laredo, Texas for most of her life. She is preceded in death by her grandparents. She is survived by her loving parents: Juan Manuel Solis, Sr. and Guadalupe De Leon Solis. Her brothers: Juan Jose (Thelma) Solis, Oscar (Atide ) Solis, Juan Manuel (Nydia) Solis, Jr., and Marko (Mayra) Solis. She was also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, other relatives and many friends. A heartfelt poem is written in her honor: " Hermana, el tiempo que estuvistes presents en nuestra vidas fue la mejor bendicion que nuestro Dios nos dio. Sigues presente en nuestra familia. Gracias per los buenos tiempos que compartimos y por todos los buenos consejos que nos distes. Gracias per siempre mostranos con tu vlentia, fuerza y alegria que podemos luchar para sequir adelante. Te extranaremos, pero sabemos que ahora estas mucho mejor, nunca te olvidaremos nuestra REYNONA." Visitation will be held on Monday, November 11, 2013 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a prayer service officiated by Pastor Jose Luis Renteria of Iglesia Cristian Emanue will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin with a Religious Service officiated by Pastor Renteria at 10:45 a.m. held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 12, 2013, departing from the funeral home chapel. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic cemetery .
