LORENZA MEZA Lorenza Meza, 90, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at a local hospital. Mrs. Meza was born in San Francisco Del Rincon, Guanajuato and had been a long life resident of Laredo, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Rodriguez and Domitila Garcia de Rodriguez. Children, Rosa Rodriguez and Lorenzo Meza. She is survived by her loving husband of 73 years of marriage, Felipe Meza. Children, Carmela (Antonio dec'd) Becerra, Consuelo (Antonio) Navarro, Ramon (Onesima) Meza, Gloria (Jose Angel dec'd) Cueva, Felipe Meza Jr., Antonio (Maria Concepcion) Meza, Juan (San Juana) Meza, Jose Luis (Maria Dolores) Meza, Maria G. (Edy Francisco) Garcia, Rogelio (Norma A.) Meza, Gabriel Meza, Graciela Rodman and Maria (Mario) Bernal. 62 Grandchildren and 112 Great grandchildren. Also surviving her are brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles numerous other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 from 4 to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Southside Chapels, Loop 20 and Zapata Hwy. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 16, 2014 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will then follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
