LORENZA L. VALDEZ
Lorenza L. Valdez, 88, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at a local hospital.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gilberto Valdez.
Son, Ernesto Valdez.
Daughter, Yolanda Valdez.
She is survived by her children, Janie Peña, Amelia (Juan) De La Rosa, Gilberto  Valdez Jr., Arturo Valdez and Raul (Lourdes) Valdez.
Grandchildren, Juan V. Peña, Eric (Genesis) Peña, Maribel De La Rosa, Juan Raul De La Rosa Jr., Gilbert Valdez Jr., Michael Valdez, Vanessa Valdez, Arturo (Mari) Valdez Jr., Alex (Talia) Valdez, Andy Valdez, Ashley Valdez, Armando Gutierrez, Jackie Valdez, Ernesto Valdez Jr., Elizabeth Valdez, Raul Valdez Jr. and Mario Valdez.
13 great-grandchildren.
Daughter-in-Law, Maria Elena Valdez.
Sister, Esperanza Leal and Linda Hiracheta.
Brother, Rumaldo Leal.
Also surviving her are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 25, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons East Chapel, 4500 Thomas Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 26, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Committal services will be held on a later date.
