LUIS EDUARDO VALDEZ

Luis Eduardo Valdez, 90, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Mr. Valdez was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, Mexico and was a long life reident of Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Luis Ricardo and Julia Valdez.

Spouse, Hermila Valdez.

Brothers, Herminio Valdez and Luis Inez Valdez.

He is survived by his children, Luis (Alma) Valdez, Luis Ricardo (Amy) Valdez and Luis Eduardo (Sandra) Valdez Jr.

6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Sister, Georgina Valdez.

Brothers, Luis Herminio (Elvira) Valdez, Jesus  Julia (Gloria†) Valdez and Luis Baltazar (Victoria†) Valdez.

Also surviving him are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2026 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a vigil of the deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, November 5, 2026 at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
