LUIS ESCOBEDO
Luis Escobedo, 77, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2016 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Escobedo was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Olga J. Escobedo.
Parents, Concepcion and Maria Catalina Escobedo.
Siblings, Agustin Escobedo, Francisco Escobedo, Juan Escobedo, Josefina Escobedo, Consuelo Morado, Aurora Costilla and Olga Escobedo.
He is survived by his daughters, Diana (Nicolas) Lopez, Lupita (Rolando) Martinez and Alma Escobedo.
Son, Jose Garcia Jr.
Grandchildren, Debbie (Gabriel) Lopez, Monica (Pedro) Molina, Luisana (Julio) Barboza, Luis Manuel (Rosa) Martinez, Rolando Martinez Jr., Jose Garcia III and Amanda Garcia.
6 great-grandchildren.
Siblings, Leonor (Guadalupe+) Cano and Maria Elena (Rey+) Molina.
Also surviving him are nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 2, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 8:30 a.m. at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
