Luis Davila Jr.'s Obituary
LUIS DAVILA JR.
Luis Davila Jr., 72, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at a local hospital.
Mr. Davila was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a life long resident.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Luis and Juanita H. Davila.
Daughter, Maria Guadalupe Davila.
Granddaughter, Bridgette Davila.
Several brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his loving wife, of 54 years of marriage, Teresa S. Davila.
Children, Andrea (Mario) Gonzalez, Luis (Patricia) Davila III, Jacinto (Elizabeth) Davila and Rafael Enrique (Leslie) Davila.
Grandchildren, Yvonne (Ernie) Samuels, Andrea (Victor) Bravo, Mario Alberto Gonzalez Jr., Teresa Barraza, Genoveva Barraza, Juana (Gavin) Gamez, Cynthia (John) Davila, Luis Davila IV, Joah Davila, Yvette Esparza,Rafael Enrique Davila Jr., Marcos Davila, Lizette Davila and Katelynn Davila.
Former daughter-in-law, Anabel Davila.
Also surviving him are numerous great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the
Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
Funeral services will begin at 9 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 departing from the funeral home chapel. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
