LUIS FERNANDO RAZ

Luis Fernando Raz, 59, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 in Laredo, Texas surrounded by his loving family.

"Nosotros como hijos le damos las gracias a mi Padre por siempre estar con nosotros y tenernos siempre unidos como hermanos que somos. Doy Gracias a Nuestro Dios por habernos dejado disfrutar a mi Padre."

Mr. Raz was born in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas Mexico and had been a resident of Laredo most of his life.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 36 years of marriage Marie Melissa Raz, by his father Gustavo Raz, his brother Juan Manuel "Pancho"  Raz, grandmother Paula Diaz and his brother-in-law Nando Lopez.

He is survived by his three sons; Luis Fernando (Brenda Lee) Raz Jr.,Gustavo Eduardo (Amanda Leyva) Raz and Jorge Alberto (Ashley Capetillo) Raz.

Eight grandchildren: Carlos, Amberly, Melissa, Alexandra, Kendra, Jorge, Javier and Dante.

Sisters: Rosa (Alfonso) Badillo, Olga (Fermin) Perez, Martha Lopez, Hilda Rodriguez and Sandra (Alfredo) Garza.

Also, surviving him are nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons, Southside  Chapel, Loop 20 and Zapata Highway. Funeral Services will begin departing the Southside Chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2019. A Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at San Vicente De Paul Catholic Church. Committal Service and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Luis Raz, Gustavo Raz, Jorge Raz, Heriberto Navarro, Jaime Moncivais, Ruben Moncivais, Juan Jose Navarro and Carlos Sanchez.
