LYDIA O. FLORES
Lydia O. Flores, 88, gained her wings on Friday, September 12, 2025 in her home surrounded by her loving family, in Laredo, Texas.
Mrs. Flores is a proud graduate of Martin High School Class of 1958. Once A Tiger; Always A Tiger.
Mrs. Flores is preceded in death by her loving husband, Fernando Flores, of 46 years, and her son in law, Jesus "Chino" Villarreal, who she loved dearly. Her brother, Severo R. Flores. Her sisters in law, Irma Melendez and Maria Christina Guerrero.
Mrs. Flores is survived by her children; Fernando Flores Jr. (Esperanza), Alonzo Flores, Veronica "Betty Flores" Villarreal ( Jesus "Chino"), Marco Antonio Flores (Maria Elena), and Lydia Flores her loving daughter in law. Grandchildren; Cesar Javier Santa Cruz, Cassandra, Araceli Flores, Alonzo Flores Jr., Angelica Flores, Caryna Flores, Bertha Lydia Villarreal, Zynthia Veronica Villarreal, Fernando Jesus Villarreal, Marco Antonio Flores Jr. Great grandchildren; Itzel and Daniela Noemi Villarreal. Along with her loving support dog "Cookie". Her loving brother Rodolfo J. Flores (Lupita) and sister Elvira (Joe) D. Esparza and numerous grandchildren.

The family would like to give a very special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Luis Benavides / Nurses On Wheels. Nurse Valeria, Cassandra, Almira, Clarissa, Irene, Hector, Edgar, Nora, and Chaplin Naomi. Alpha Primary Care; Cindy and Annette.
Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025 from 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm at
Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave.
The funeral procession will depart the funeral home on Monday September 15, 2025 at 10:30 am. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church. Committal services and interment will follow at the Laredo City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be : Marco Antonio Flores Jr., Alonso Flores Jr. Fernando Jesus Villarreal, Ulysses Flores, Rudy Flores, Hector Flores, Jerry Villarreal, Damian Flores and Uri Ramirez.
