Lydia P. Luna, 98, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2025 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Luna was born in Laredo, Texas and had been a lifelong resident.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Agustin and Concepcion Perez.
Spouse, Juan Luna.
Daughter, Rosa Maria (Manuel) Avila Sr.
Grandson, Gerardo Avila and Martin Luna

Daughter In-Law, Irma Luna

Brother, Victor Perez Jr.
Sisters, Herlinda Montiel, Zulema Arispe, Olga Gomez, Emma Gonzalez and Estelita Perez.

She is survived by her son, Juan Francisco Luna III.
Grandchildren, Manuel (Bertha) Avila Jr., Eduardo Avila, Geraldina Avila, Juan (Elvira) Luna IV., Roberto (Angie) Luna, Ana Laura Luna, Diana Luna and Esmeralda (Omar) Acevedo.
Also many great-grandchildren.
Brother, Mario Perez.
Sisters, Amalia P. Garza, Alicia Cortez, Maria Concepcion Arispe and Teresa Carrillo.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a Vigil of the Deceased will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Funeral services will begin departing the funeral home chapel at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 9 a.m. at Mother Cabrini Catholic Church. Committal Services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
