LYDIA A. MEJORADO

Lydia A. Mejorado, 93, passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026 in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Mejorado was born in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico and had been a longlife resident of Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Margarita Acosta.
Spouse, Alfredo Mejorado.Son, Alfredo Javier Mejorado.
Great-granddaughter, Jizabelle Trejo.
Sisters, Rosa Acosta and Gloria Acosta.
Brothers, Daniel Acosta, Benjamin Acosta and Santiago Acosta.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth M. De Leon.
Grandaughters, Jessica (Joel) Trejo, Jose Alfredo De Leon, Jessie A. Quiroz, Jizelle Saenz, Tianna Mejorado, Priscilla Mejorado and Esther Soto Reyes.
Great-granchildren, Joel Trejo and Jandel Trejo.

Also surviving her are other relatives and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and a religious service will be held at 7 p.m. in the Hernandez-Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. at San Bernardo Ave. Chapel service will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. Committal services and interment will follow at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
