LYDIA S. FLORES

Lydia S. Flores, 72, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.

Mrs. Flores was born in Laredo, Texas and was a lifelong resident.

She is preceded in death by her parents Jesus Silva and Anita Arenivas De Silva.

Siblings, Jesus Silva Jr., Teodora Schooly, Guillermina Flores, Juany Ramirez and Dagoberto Silva.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 54 years of marriage, Juan E. Flores.

Children, Juan (Isela) Flores Jr., Analia (Jesus) Martinez and Richard (Cynthia) Flores .

Grandchildren, Tanya Flores, Priscilla (Ricardo) Ontiveros, Juan E. Flores III, Sonnie Flores, Juan Miguel Alvarado, Rosalee Flores and Rhaelee Flores.

Numerous great grandchildren.

Sister, Anna Nieto.

Also surviving her are numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held on Monday, April 8, 2024 departing from the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons, Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. on San Bernardo Ave. Holy Mass was celebrated at San Luis Rey Catholic Church. Committal services and interment followed at the Laredo City Cemetery.

PALLBEARERS WERE: Richard Flores, Juan E. Flores Jr., Juan E. Flores III, Miguel Alvarado, Jorge L. Nieto Jr., Pete Ramirez Jr., Gonzalo Treviño and Juan Ramirez Jr.

HONORARY PALLBEARERS: Adrian Ramirez, Sonnie F. Flores and Ricardo Ontiveros.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Hernandez, Lopez and Sons Northside Chapels, 800 Boston St. and San Bernardo Ave.
